Neither DOES THE PILOT.You could run into 50 different kinds of turbulence, or you could could have a smooth flight and land on time. Certainly, the pilot will try to use his or her experience to navigate around storms and go for the smoothest flight plan, but if they are honest;they can't promise a turbulent free trip. Their job is to simply get you to your distination in the least time and with the least aggravation while keeping you informed throughout the trip.
As your realestate consultant, I see myself as the pilot of your trip. My job is to assist you in getting you to your destination for the lowest cost, in the least amount of time,with the least aggravation.I can't promise we won't experience turbulence because we most certainly will, but I can promise that I'll utilize my experience and expertise to make your flight as smooth as humanly possible. And when we do hit turbulence, I won't bail out on you.
I think it is important to realize that a real estate transaction is touched by over one hundred different individuals from start to finish. I don't know about you but in my world with that many cooks in the kitchen it is not a matter of whether or not there will be turbulence but what kind is the issue! Solving these kind of problems is what I am trained to do and where my greatest value lies.
